It's good that teleserye has managed to stay resurgent in many parts of the world. The interesting thing is that the competition tango between the two biggest Pinoy broadcasting companies, GMA & ABS-CBN,  continues with its incessant whirls & sways. The rivalry has de-facto gone beyond the Philippine shores. Africa & Latin America have been  locked in by new GMA releases but ABS-CBN has been making fastbreak moves within Asia after being initially nudged by its rival, which traditionally was stronger in nearer shores.

In short, Pinoy teleserye is alive. Its interesting stories & good-looking stars continuing to delight the world...

Another GMA teleserye has been marketed to the Spanish-speaking world.

GMA must be jumping with joy, it has sold a teleserye again. Or is this a re-issue? This teleserye was released on 2008 yet. But it stars regional stars Marian Rivera & Dingdong Dantes. Marian Rivera is the biggest Pinay star in many geographic areas of the world like Africa & Indochina. To its credit, GMA knows how to produce stunningly beautiful stars. I wonder why they keep destroying the view with the low-rating kdramas they keep on inserting. Needless Halloween views as a result.

Anyway, another good news for Pinoy teleserye.

VIETNAMESE TET: Marian Rivera-Dingdong Dantes returned to Vietnam TodayTV

The Vietnam TodayTV awardee for the Best Foreign Actor & Actress for 2014, Pinoy showbiz royal couple, Marian Rivera & Dingdong Dantes, returned to Vietnamese TV screens via a 2008 film entitled One True Love which also featured Iza Calzado. Right in time for the Vietnamese New Year, Tet, celebrations for 2016 where they re-released 8  films: 4 from Vietnam, 4 from the Philippines, 3 of the 8 were Marian Rivera  starrers, the most for any actress (The other two films were My Best Friend's Girlfriend with Richard Gutierrez, & another Dongyan film, You To Me Are Everything . The fourth Pinoy film was The Promise starring Richard Gutierrez & Angel Locsin). All were GMA films.

Needless to say, you have an idea of the popularity of Marian Rivera in Vietnam right there.

"Жауын астындағы бойжеткен"/ "SHE'S THE ONE": Early Enrique Gil-Liza Soberano Film shown in Kazakhstan TV

The Enrique Gil-Liza Soberano fever is still hot in Kazakhstan. The Kazakhstani TV 31Kanal is still showing the 2013 Enrique Gil  teleserye Muling Buksan ang Puso, but it seems the Enrique Gil-Julia Montes was not enough to keep the fans of the Lizquen loveteam from hankering for more.

While waiting for their second teleserye, Dolce Amore, there was another option to keep the embers glowing. The 2013 pre-Forevermore  film, "She's the One, was dug up and shown about 3 days ago. It had Dingdong Dantes & Bea Alonzo as main leads but it was the first full-length appearance of Enrique & Liza together  and that surely made the fans happy.

For now. More options are on the way...
