The kid is now a young man, though at 14, he's clearly hurrying things in his life in this video: he's now supposedly  in love.  First love is always memorable, but the casting director must have had a catastrophic first love. The girl here looks not only older and too small beside JK's 5'9" frame but not even that beautiful. Beside that casting flaw, the song & the music video were beautiful though.

JK is growing up just like the next matinee idol should.

One of the better music videos for the PHILPOP 2015. I like the lighting & color schemes of the director, really sleek. Sometimes, it takes only a proper video to make the difference. Anja came out of her shell here. Her partner, Clint Bondad, has an overpowering presence that pulled up everybody in the end.
       Just like the Pinoy becoming the Asian image so everybody will be pulled up in the end & nobody being pulled down.

This music video gets too melodramatic at some point- with the usual emotion-filled facial contortions, but thankfully, not to the extent you get visions about constipation & the like. Maja's sex appeal saved the day, barely though.

Somebody sent me the link to this video and I have to admit I was impressed. Very impressed actually.  But afterwards, I was so surprised I kinda feel sad. Here are two young singers who looked & sang better than 90% of what we are offered on TV and they are unknown.

 

HISTORY TIME: Vina Morales in Kuala Lumpur: "Pangako Sa Yo"

The first version of the teleserye Pangako Sa Yo became big in Malaysia, the theme song likewise became a favorite in that country, so when Vina Morales appeared in Kuala Lumpur in 2007 for the defunct IKON Singing Competition, she sang the song to an appreciative local audience. Propitiously, with the release of the 2015 version teleserye, the version of Ms. Morales is still the theme song used.

I was so surprised by the  transformation of Angeline Quinto in this mv, she actually looked ravishing here. But I wonder why they didn't choose a more appropriate partner. When I tried to post it the first time, my assistant cried "Ano ba yan, mas pogi lang ng konti kay Roderick Paulate yang lalaki?" Yeah, the look of the man distracts.I was not impressed by her other videos and she may not look as good again so I finally decided to just post this one.

 It seems I'm posting Starmusic music videos mostly because I pity the singers. Edward Benosa is the best-looking among the new singers but look how he was not given a chance to look good here. He was made to contort his face most of the time, apparently to try to court sympathy by being overly melodramatic but he ended up looking like he was having difficulty in expelling something in a toilet instead. ABS-CBN should really overhaul its music video production department.
