"The Bitter Song" By Callalily LIVE

Bamboo - "Nothing Like You" and "Firepower" (Official Music Video)

Two great songs in one video - intense, deep blues to the wild abandon of funk. The return of the King of Pinoy Rock was never meant to be an understatement.

Simply put, it was a blast!!!

6cyclemind - Lunod (Official Music Video)

Well, things are really revving up. Interesting music videos are coming out from the old reliable bands. The funny thing is more and more beautiful people are appearing in the music videos, the music videos may become more interesting than the local movies. Not complaining though, that only means we have a deep bench of beautiful people and we should celebrate them.

Beautiful music, beautiful people. The more, the merrier. That will shame in due course the villains who love pretending to be beautiful. Of course, they can always pay more to be patronized to pretend. Who are they kidding anyway?

Mr. Bones and The Boneyard Circus - Her Last Drop (OFFICIAL MUSIC VIDEO)

I guess, lighting is the most important tool in a music video, plus nice texture in production design so there will be lots  to engage the attention of the viewer. Diversionary tactics, if you may. Probably, if this was a video with a stark, in-your-face lighting which reveals unsightly stimuli that detracts one's appreciation of the music, perhaps it would be better not to waste anybody's time. But it was packaged in such  a way one would only notice he appreciated the great sounds in the end.

EXTREME ROCK BIRIT: AEGIS - in HONG KONG & TOKYO, JAPAN

The so-called "National Band". Youtube is replete with the fanmade videoclips of their concerts  in many cities of the world, entertaining the Pinoy diaspora in small & big venues.  They gave the Philippines some of the most powerful contemporary songs, but unfortunately, wanting are the sleek music videos which could have perpetuated the power of their music in a more sophisticated light.
This is Birit at its most hard-core.

Sponge Cola -- Iyong Iyong Iyo [OFFICIAL MUSIC VIDEO]

Title:     Iyong Iyong Iyo  /  Only Yours  /  только твой  /  Sólo tuyo

Mica Caldito - Criminal (Lyric Video)/ April Winds (Lyric Video)/ April Winds Crossfade Demo

I featured the group 3AM  two days ago. The lead singer is now solo & he just released his April Winds Debut EP. The guy has the looks, the voice, the song-writing ability & apparently, the technical wizardry. He does everything in his records- all instruments, including arrangement, recording, mixing & mastering.

Slapshock - Night Owls (Official Video)

Mayonnaise - Tayo Na Lang Dalawa (Official Music Video)

Arci Muñoz as rocker in PHILIA - KILLERS (Official Music Video)

I'm re-releasing this music video of the rock band Philia whose leading singer is none other than one of the hottest sexpots of the country today, Arci Muñoz. Of Pasion de amor fame.

Pupil - Why (OFFICIAL MUSIC VIDEO)

Hale - Saint Or Sinner [Official Music Video]

One Click Straight - Shakin' (Lyric Video)

I always give wider latitude to new acts. This one has a catchy tune. I wonder what would happen if they borrow the director of Lunar Lights' "If I'm Wrong" for their music video. This song fits to the same lighting & camera work.
