Typical Pinay Beauty: Centuries of Diversity

I unwittingly stirred a minor Hornet's nest in my preceding post. I myself was surprised by the direction of the discussion in the comments. That's what you get when shallow interests tinker with ghosts which were better off left  hibernating beneath the ground. It could have been avoided with a little more common sense.

For one, it's wiser not to use the terms "typical Pinay beauty" because of the stable melting pot we have in the country. We don't have to parrot the pretentious discourse on Diversity elsewhere just to be trendy because we have been diversified long ago in our history. It became plain stupidity when the phrase "typical Pinay beauty" was used with an entirely erroneous meaning- worst,  describing something as "typical" just to advance subliminally a false narrative. The ulterior motive was obvious, only a moron won't have noticed the "racist"campaigns for a better part of the last decade which were mostly  just ignored because they were so ridiculous.

Well, let's just celebrate Pinay beauty. With that, I will have a few days vacation.

  2. Actually Pinoys can popularize one of their looks, their biggest look & convert it as their brand: the non-chinky eyed Westernized Oriental which is in between the Caucasian at one end, and the Mongoloid Oriental at the other. Like the Northeast Mongoloids, they follow the facial signatures popularized by the Japanese long ago, that slit-eyes are more photogenic if the face is elongated and thin. So even if the Koreans are mostly moon-faced, they look for thin, long faced stars like the Japanese. Even Chinese stars starting with Zhang Ziyi have followed this model though the Chinese became more liberal with round-faced stars in recent years.
There's really no use for Pinoys to pretend like the Northeast Mongoloids because as it is, Pinoys are already more acceptable physically. The Northeast Mongoloids still have to fight for theirs, and despite their combined wealth, the battle is still ongoing. So the Pinoys should protect their niche to stand out & not allow themselves to be pulled down from where they are

    1. Most Northeast Mongoloid (Taiwan, China, Japan, Korea) celebrities have eyelid surgery so they practically look like Pinoys already. They are converting to us & it's foolhardy to try to step down to them instead

  4. Diversity Pinoy-style is: 20% of the Pinoys have Chinese blood, half have Spanish blood & most will grab the first blonde they can get- so all these campaigns kuno for diversity is just a pretension to get money from Western forces who have this ignorant program for multiculturalism in places where the people are already so mixed up like in the Philippines. This is big money & greedy people are using that money to enrich themselves while pretending to campaign for diversity in already the most diversified country in the world

    2. I agree it's ignorant, right choice of adjective. Multiculturalism campaign is not needed here because the tendency is for cultures to fuse. No longer multi but a new halo-halo culture which doesn't need campaigns to separate the mixture into different components again

    3. Pardon but it gets complicated. Is it a campaign from the West or from the East which wants to change beauty standards towards their direction? I know many ma-arte locals are over-eager to duplicate what's happening in the US but we should not forget those Easterners who brazenly claim they are the most beautiful

Tama yong comment na nabasa ko dito somewhere, most famous face nila ay si Ban Ki Moon so reality will force itself into the picture. Kaya walang nangyari sa decades na kampanya because reality is cruel

    5. West o East man ang may pakana I think it doesn't matter. Wala na masyado credibility ang mga social engineering na ganito. Bistado na kasi gasgas na mga methods before it even got here... Lalo na sa West ngayong nababangkarote na sila, nawawala na political correctness nila
