They should make this teleserye look sleek. If ever there is a Pinoy teleserye that has a ready market across many continents, this is it.One of the unstated aims of piracy is that it can actually develop a market, it's up to the producers to take advantage of it. It is believed that piracy is one of the secrets that developed the distribution networks in Africa and paved the way for the development of Nollywood, the Nigerian film industry which is the second biggest in the world, next to Bollywood of India. The frst film of Jadine, "Diary Ng Panget" was the biggest youth film in the pirate world last year (& the young demographic is the biggest piracy clients). The big question is how would Pinoy producers take advantage of the new markets developed by the pirates for them.

I'm
not really attracted by the plot of "Dream Dad". Neither by the
main cast. Its showing in Kazakhstan therefore piqued my
curiosity: I'm using it as my petri dish for another of my
pseudo-anthropological studies. Just recently, star power was once again proven in Kazakhstan, especially among the young
demographics who went in droves to join the various fan clubs established at
the Russian Facebook, Vkontakte (VK) for the Pinoy teleserye "Men Sagan
Gashykpyn" (Forevermore), where
Enrique Gil & Liza Soberano shone brighter than the stars of the
other foreign telenovelas shown simultaneously in Kazakhstan. The Philippines
is getting well-known for its cute actors since the discovery by the Asiatic
film-loving world of "Diary Ng Panget" of James Reid and "She's Dating The Gangster" of Daniel Padilla last year. They confirmed that
once again with the emergence now of Enrique Gil. With the news that another Pinoy
teleserye is forthcoming, the automatic question was who will be the cute one this time around. For "Dream Dad", as can be noticed in their VK page (click here), the
eyes are on Teejay Marquez, they practically ignore Zanjoe Marudo but fill with comments
(notice the heart icons) on the posts on Teejay Marquez . For example:

Just how popular is FOREVERMORE (Men Sagan Gashykpyn) in Kazakhstan? How about having more than 250,000 fan club membership in 2 months in a 17 million population country?
Below are the 7 biggest. There are many more with more than a thousand to as little as just 30 members.
(UPDATE: August 9, 2015- Note that with the ending of Forevermore in Kazakhstan tonight, most of the fan clubs were converted into "Got To Believe" fans club. The latter will start tomorrow, August 10, so it will start with a lot of captured fans already. Good for the young Pinoy artists because they have the same audience anyway.
