Not only are Pinoy teleseryes getting high ratings from its mostly primetime slots in many countries in many continents, they are getting the critical accolades too.
Jodi Sta. Maria was nominated for Best Actress for her role in the teleserye Pangako Sa Yo/The Promise/La Promesa. She will be vying against UK.'s Judi Dench ("Roald Dahl's Esio Trot"), Brazil's Grazi Massafera ("Verdades Secretas") and Germany's Christiane Paul ("Unterm Radar").
Meanwhile, the teleserye Bridges of Love/Puentes de Amor (the first teleserye shown in Latin America) was nominated for Best Telenovela, vying against entries from Brazil: A Regra de Jogo by Globo TV and Verdades Secretas, also by Globo TV, and from Canada, 30 Vies by Ici Radio-Canada.

Namamayagpag na talaga ang mga Pinoy. Way to go, Jodi
Worldwide yata yan
ReplyDeleteDo K-Dramas frequently get nominated as Best Telenovela in South American? Has there ever been a K-Drama nominated as Best telenovela before?
Naw, I don't think so
DeleteWill you stop saying that. It's not helpful to our contents by making bad comment about the other side's product, specially by antagonizing their product with unrealistic belief. You are only hurting our side with that kind of attitude.
Delete2:05, saang daigdig ka ba galing at makaluma ka masyado? how can saying the truth be counterproductive? If somebody like the villains love to pretend they even deserve to be making film with their looks, then sabotage anybody who looks better than them, it's better to tell them straight the truth para matauhan sila at baka ma-realize nakakatawa naman talaga pagkukunwari nila. Of course, they will still sabotage because they have no recourse but to pretend like they continue doing it now but at least the truth is out & they won't affect you anymore because you can laugh at their face because nakakatawa nga sila.
Delete@3:01 Clearly you do not understand, like a lot of Filipinos who doesn't understand that there is consequences to what we say specially when one just shoot their mouth off and stepping on a lot of people's toes, with their pissy and standoffish way of talking, and whose idea of debate is to asar or insult and infuriate the other side to the point that they become a hater to anything PH. This is not gaining us any love or any fan. In fact, all over social media, a lot of hate is unnecessarily being generated towards us because Filipinos just doesn't know when to act cordially and friendly. Sure, you can tell the truth, but you can also talk about the truth in a way that doesn't back fire and generate hate back towards us. Insult begets insults. And another thing, this blog is supposed to be working for the promotion of our content, but what I see is a lot of unnecessary insult that will just lead to counter insult from who ever is reading it.
Delete@4:19 We can talk about Korean sabotaging our contents and we can even express our dismay and disappointment, but we should try to be more courteous and cordial in how we express our anger and disappointment because we are also here to promote our content. What if non-fiipinos were reading our insulting and asar comments towards the koreans, they would think we are the bad guys and they will probably take the side of the other side because we don't know how to communicate and express our thoughts in a way that drives the point but not alienate us and make us looking like the bad guys. Huwag po natin gayahin si President Duterte. Sabi niya, walang due process ang bunganga niya.
DeleteP.S.
Just tell things as they are- they should not even be in show business because of their looks. May gana pang magpropaganda e di naman pala pinapansin. Kaya nananabotahe sila dahil di magklik mga itsura nila. It will serve them right pag malaman nila nakakatawa sila para matauhan na. Kasi maski ano sabotahe gawin nila ganoon pa rin pagmumukha nila so wala rin.
DeleteThe readers will only get curious & will most likely read the posts in the blog about the sabotage done by the Koreans on the Pinoys
Delete6:22 seems to be using reverse psych here so we won't be telling the truth about the poor looks of his/her patrons. He wants us to be courteous in expressing our anger & disappointments? Lol. That's opposite the instructions to the Korean paid "fans" who always make a scene because that's the idea: para katakutan sila, their targets would have reason to placate them. Look at Peru, iniwasan i-publish nang maige ang La Promesa kasi they tried to avoid the "avid Korean fans".
DeleteWill telling the truth about the poor Korean looks stop a reader from reading more posts in this blog? No, it will only whet his appetite to read about how the plain-looking Koreans are sabotaging those who look better than them.
Part of the promotion done by this blog is to make its readers see the light & see clearly the workings of the villains that destroy the view.
The Koreans will always sabotage no matter if we be courteous or fools because they have no choice, their propaganda machinery is helpless against the fact that there are better looking and more palatable Asians than them, and they have no option but to sabotage the Pinoys. Even now, they are busy sabotaging the Pinoys, including the teleserye in Peru which is
already being shown but was not publicized by the usual outlets used before with Puentes de amor. So on Panamericana news, you would watch an alleged viral video of a Korean girl who looked very plain & not worth a second look at all but was worth getting a publicity while the Pinoy teleserye was silently being shown in that channel.
We can all talk about the truth but be smart and intelligent about it. Don't be like Digong.
Delete10:40, this is the admin. I deleted some of your comments.I don't quite agree with you & it's my prerogative to not allow your "manang" actuations. The discussion here is free & you want to police it by pretending that it will affect Pinoy content. They won't. Don't extrapolate what you mentioned as negative Pinoy asar or insult somewhere else to the discussion here. No, the people discussing here have higher education than you if you only knew them so don't be presumptuous. They are not insulting anybody if they say the Koreans have problems with their looks because the Koreans really don't look artistahin as somebody here mentioned. I myself don't find the Koreans screen-friendly, I can't stand watching them. It's better to tell the truth because that's the root of the problem of the Koreans- they have high ambitions but their looks are big obstacles so they sabotage the Pinoys. Probably reading the truth- that many people find them not worthy to be in movies- will bring them to the ground & not be delusional then stop sabotaging those who look better than them.
DeleteOne of those I deleted was the one where you mentioned that there were Pinoy fans of the Koreans who inundate the forums/youtube who insulted the Pinoy stars. These are fake fans. I already tackled this in previous articles, that the prevalent use of FAKE noisy fans is the typical modus operandi of the Koreans, be it in the Philippines or Peru or anywhere else where they operate. They use them to pretend they are popular, that they have fans. These "fans" insult or get noisy with anybody just to pretend they are so avid fans of the Koreans. But note, the Koreans have low ratings in those areas where they have these noisy fake fans. I deleted it because you tried to insert it to make it appear these paid trolls were real.
I have low regards for cheap mercenaries anyway & it's not worth stooping to the likes of him
DeleteAdmin again. I draw a line to Korean propaganda in my blog because I was a victim of Korean censorship before. They published their usual propaganda in one of their propaganda pages where they presented an alleged poll where the Pinoys were allegely agog over the beauty of some plain-looking Korean stars. Those stars were unknown in the Philippines so I commented that poll was fake. Instead of defending their post, they deleted my comment instead & denied me access to the site.
DeleteAs for 10:40, it's useless debating with him because all his issues were already the topic of previous articles. If he wanted proof contrary to his propaganda views, he should just review the previous posts in this blog. Read all the posts in Tales of Sabotage at the sidebar & discuss them with your bosses. I know you are just content to do the motions of a bayaran then get your stipend but it's better to tell your bosses to look at the mirror & ask themselves if they should even be doing movies.
Kadiri!
DeleteGood luck. Mananalo both, mark my words
ReplyDelete9:56, not to mention the fact the Pinoy star fanpages continue disappearing in Russia. But nothing changed, the Koreans still look the same so nobody will still be interested on them. The biggest reason why the Peruvians have ignored them for 10 years are their looks. They should not be doing movies because di talaga bagay.
ReplyDeleteBtw 6:22, the Koreans are not worth our anger & disappointment. They are an amusement.
One is not really being wise if one stays above the dastardly acts as if that would prevent the Koreans from continuing their underhanded ways... at least one has to make fun of the violators because it so happened we have comedians as the culprits. What makes this all funny was the only reason they are sabotaging us is we look better than them & we make obvious their delusions
The only way to make the Koreans behave & quit sabotaging is to complicate access to the Philippine entertainment market to them. As it is, parang Mafia sila na may protection racket, na mag-a-underground pag di makuha ang gusto. Just let them na magkalat for the meantime, wala namang mangyayari kasi ten years na silang namemeke, pabagsak na naman sila di lang dito pero halos sa lahat outside Mongoloid East Asia. Siguro mapapagod din sila after 10 years bago nila ma-realize na hanggat ganyan mga itsura nila, wala talagang mangyayari so dapat baguhin nila ang mga ilusyon. As it is, ganyan na talaga ang itsura nila so might as well pack up kasi bistado na na di kaya ng propaganda nila na goyohin ang tao
Kasi matagal na sigurong nagtitiis ang mga Hapon who have the second biggest entertainment industry in the world next to US o kaya ang mga Tsino with the biggest movie industry in the world shortly.
You need to think 3 steps ahead. Kasi gaya ngayon, kung appeasement ang style mo tapos while you're talking ina-underground ka na, tapos i-waylay mo pa ang focus mo sa unfounded fear na baka ma-misinterpret pa ang sinasabi ng isang commenter sa blog, aba you will end up being toyed again shortly. That is, after ignorantly endorsing self-regulation sa mga readers.
The best move to a wicked adversary is to tell the truth. Especially if that adversary is delusional & not above sabotaging its opponents. The main handicap of the Koreans are their looks, that's why they failed to make headway in many parts of the world outside their propaganda. But they had this delusion to be the Asian to conquer the world, & the better-looking Pinoys, who became accidental idols even without effort on their part because of their looks , became targets to these bitter souls. But the sabotage won't change a thing because the sabotage won't improve the faces of the Koreans
You can talk about it intelligently and smartly, but sadly, hindi kaya niyan gawin sa karamihan ng mga Filipino dahil their idea of debate or discussion is to asar or insult the other side.
DeleteP.S.
It's now confirmed you are obviously an asswiper for the Koreans. Do you really need a debate while your opponent is busy sabotaging you? Only a fool would try to pretend intelligent by branding as making asar or merely insulting when he tries to twit somebody who has been documented to have sabotaged him. You're trying to find fault with any Filipino reacting to the sabotage done by the Koreans just because the Pinoy stars got noticed without trying.
DeleteAnd you even try to muddy the issues. Has anybody here ever mentioned anything about Korean content? And here you are taking advantage of the opportunity to enter into the discussion the Korean content. Well the truth is, Korean content is useless because of their looks. The Koreans are not star material. That's why they mostly get low ratings outside Mongoloid East Asia because nobody bothers to watch them. They can always boast of their content (which is debatable) but their looks destroys it all, that's why for 10 years they were stuck in the bottom of the charts in Peru dominated by telenovelas from Mexico,Columbia, Turkey , Greece, Peru & the Philippines. Nobody is interested about Korean content because nobody wanted to watch their faces
