SABOTAGE OF PINOY TELESERYES IN PERU: Now we know why they are bitter & cruel (as if they weren't used to the lowest ratings. VERY "POPULAR KUNWARI" INDEED!!!)

So, how is the first Pinoy teleserye to be shown in Latin America faring? Actually, very good, as the latest TV ratings of Puentes de Amor have shown. So good that a second Pinoy teleserye was bought, and that was La Promesa.

There lie the kinks. In a previous post ("LA PROMESA" IN PERU: Kathniel is Coming to Peru & the "Popular Kunwari" are at War"), I related how supposedly Korean drama fanatics have been very aggresive in "sabotaging" La Promesa. Both Pinoy & Korean melodramas were shown in the same channel & in different time slots so one should wonder, why would these alleged Korean "fans" be ganging up on La Promesa? The Koreans have been present in Peru for years and it's true, the Korean dramas always obtained the lowest ratings among all the telenovelas (which come from Peru, Colombia, Mexico & Turkey) but shouldn't they have been supportive of their co-Asian Pinoys? What could be the reason for the bitterness? What is the fault of the Pinoys?

Here is the fault of the Pinoys: the first Pinoy teleserye in Peru, Puentes de Amor, at #41 with 3.7 ratings, is even rating better than the two Korean dramas which are at the bottom of the charts (The Korean drama "Adonis Flor de Invierno" was only in #54 position with 2.6 points & "Mascara de Cristal" at #55 with 2.5 ).

The Koreans are only being consistent: their dramas always get the lowest ratings among the dramas. Very "popular kunwari" indeed!!!

    1. So obvious na ang modus operandi nila: kung gusto nila mang-pressure, gamitin nila ang mga "fanatic" kuno nila na parang people power. Panggulat.

Very illogical so may rason, may binabayaran tiyak sila sa loob.

    3. Dapat ipabasa ang mga posts in this blog about the sabotage done on La Promesa in Peru sa mga executives ng GMA at ABSCBN.So they realize how they have been led by the nose by the Koreans all along.

    4. 4:07, Nice idea. Para malaman din nila who among them ang executive na point man ng mga Koreano sa loob. Very clear there's hanky-panky here. Calling BIR na rin

  4. Nagbacktrack ako ng ratings ng Panamericana last year, dyusko nasa 1 point something lang pala ang ratings ng mga koreana na yan. Hahaha. Mas mataas pa nga ang nakukuha nila ngayon thanks to Fatmagul at Bridges of Love.

    1. Ang kapal ng mga Koreano. Now we know drowing lang yang Korean wave kuno na yan, ilusyon lang ng propaganda & dirty tricks department ng mga trying hard wannabe na mga Koreano. Nakakahiya

  5. Matatapos na ang bridges of love and I am afraid na yung koreano ang ipalit.Nawala kasi ang promo ng psy at mysteriously biglang sulpot yung bagong koreana novela

  7. I suspect their SOP are, first, their so-called fanatics are ordered to sabotage their target to show that their dramas have "popular request" despite the low ratings over other shows (they did this in the Philippines against Brazilian telenovelas & Jap animes) , then, second, that show of "popular request" will provide their man inside a broadcast station with the argument with the bigwigs of the station that the Koreans are really "popular" & they should heed the "popular requests". Never mind the low ratings, the money will smoothen things out. In short, pure corruption. Duterte should look into this especially that the Koreans play dirty, they really treat us as big threats to their fake popularity and some Pinoys would sell their countrymen just for little money

  8. This is an eyeopener. What do you expect? They are as ugly as their black souls.

  10. That was really hilarious but it's obvious that was the exact reason why they had to resort to their "sabotage" routine. They had to pretend "popularity" as a front to their dismal failure, their usual gimmick in the Philippines & now they are doing it in Peru
So all their paid publicity of being popular should be met with a round of laughter from now on. Korean wave is a big joke

  12. THIS IS THE ASSISTANT TO THE ADMIN, WE DECIDED TO COPY TWO COMMENTS FROM ANOTHER POST & PASTE THEM HERE BECAUSE THIS POST GIVES THE BACKGROUND FOR THE NEW INFO THEY BROUGHT UP, why they sabotaged & the result of the sabotage:

    Anonymous, July 2, 2016 at 5:40 PM:

    Anonymous July 2, 2016 at 8:38 PM:
That caught my attention too. Why was that word reacciono or "reacted" used? It means there was really an effort to prevent La Promesa because Panamericana reacted by releasing a new kdrama to replace Mascara to placate them. For all we know La Promesa was bought as replacement for Puentes de Amor but Panamericana saw its climb in the ratings so they changed the plan. but the Koreans got wind of it. The success of Puentes really made them insecure so they sabotaged to make sure Mascara won't replaced by the Pinoy teleserye. The same modus operandi they use in Manila of using the "fanatics". It gives us a clear view of the lengths the Koreans would go to pretend they are popular when the people have already told them by their low ratings that they are not wanted

Yan na lang naman magagawa nila, Panamericana is hard-up & they could be easily influenced. It just proves the claim of the blog that the Koreans are "popular kunwari"- fake popularity because of sabotage & other propaganda miracles behind the scene.La Promesa didn't lose, it was already bought. I don't think they will hold it too long, many shows are ending like Familia Ingalls at 6 pm.The lesson is that the Pinoy teleseryes shouldn't be content with Panamericana. As could be read in the Peruvian forums, there are many comments that Puentes could have had higher ratings if it were shown in Latina. If Pinoy teleseryes stay in Panamericana they will always be subject to sabotage by the Koreans, not to mention they will stay in a station few people bother with. It's obvious Panamericana don't protect them.

    1. The best thing to do in situations such as this is to not react fast & just observe calmly to pulse the game. The style of the Bad Guys is sort of a Mafia protection racket, that they will bomb a waste basket in front of your store so you pay protection money & do as they wish. Teleserye has already stepped into the Spanish-speaking world, it is a hit in the Latin telenovela circuit in the internet. We shouldn't be stampeded by a station that nobody watches anyway. If they don't need ratings, then they are playing a different game

What happened in Peru is a good demonstration of not only their lack of popularity but that they could be tuso even to people who treat them nicely. Sana huwag na tayo pauuto.

I really think, this is a desperation move on the part of the Koreans, openly sabotaging Pinoys now that it is known Pinoys are overshadowing them everywhere.Bistado na pagkukunwari nila. They are only making themselves the laughingstock. They should have thanked the Pinoys because the rise in the ratings of the Pinoys helped them rise from their usual 1 & 2 points in the bottom of the charts. But it's obvious they are in death throes, the propaganda fiction of their "popularity" is blowing up in their faces. Nakakatawa. But its nice the Peruvians are taking the cudgels for the Pinoys

    2. The objectives are obvious... Firstly, the success of Puentes de Amor really put them in an embarrasing position. An Asian drama like the Pinoy teleserye can get good ratings unlike them. They probably thought that the 5:15 pm schedule of Puentes will also give them the same good ratings when Puentes is finished so they grabbed it by hook or by crook (because it's obvious they are no longer wanted there because of their perennial low ratings for almost a decade). That sabotage helps them with their second objective, to block Kathniel in La Promesa getting the audience cultivated by Puentes which could only grow with the presence of Kathniel
