SCANDAL!!! PART 6: I Can Not Be Corrupted, Sorry! It Won't Be Fun Anymore so No Way

About 5 days ago (August 6, 2015), the figurehead of the propaganda front masquerading as fan club of Pinoy artists in the Post-Soviet space contacted me in my VK account and offered me to relieve him in his post. That in effect, I can become the new administrator AKA figurehead of their propaganda front whose lies I just began to document and expose (so far I exposed one in my blog & another one in my VK account). He admitted that at least 95% of what they were publishing were true (only 5% were lies?) but he claimed it was his companions who did those without his knowledge. I'm not judging him if what he's saying was true, he might have been actually used because it's de rigueur that propaganda fronts use innocent figureheads to pretend plausible deniability. Needless to say, I rejected him outright. Not out of any emotional reasons, but more on practical considerations. The propaganda front was established there for a particular reason and they are not to stop now. But the fact they were found out, documented and exposed has already produced the effect I was expecting: they have to make it appear they are not what they actually are and make good 100% in what they are doing. The Pinoy artists will only benefit for the meantime. In fact, I've toned down my VK account, limiting myself only to publicity of the Pinoy artists with films being shown in Kazakhstan and let them feature more Pinoy stars. I only do this for fun, but that's their career.

Above is part of the message of the Admin of the Fake Pinoy Group (We use direct Google translation  in order that I won't be accused of putting my own interpretation): "I have noticed that you are keen on Filipino culture, you do not want to become the administrator of the group? Will no longer be propaganda, and I will give all the control to you. I have very little free time"

 But of course, the 5% lies are what that front is about. It's just a matter of time, every animal has its own DNA which it has to act upon... but even then, we've been tipped off beforehand, we will be there waiting.

 Now, if they indeed had seen the light and reinvent their genes, so much the better. Anyway, their work is really puny in the scheme of things. The Pinoy artists have already made inroads that even the villains haven't achieved in that area, and Pinoys won't need them as much as they needed to piggyback on the Pinoys in the limelight. As we have shown, this front is used by the villains to capture the Pinoy fans as ready captive for South Korean propaganda (Scandal 4 & 5).

 With this latest turn of events, we saw how they really operate, but which I expected because that's the textbook procedures in counterpropaganda: coup d'etat at the top. Reminiscent of the move to turn in the stars who were the original target of the initial sabotage, or the blatant influence on admins of some local fan clubs.

 Frankly, I don't find the South Koreans as threats. They have very obvious deficiencies which are fatal roadblocks to their big ambition (Plastic Surgery has its limits, for one). It's actually funny that they were caught doing what they were not supposed to be doing (just like the politician being caught dipping his fingers to the pie: if he was not caught, nobody would have been the wiser). But these are mere hiccups if they want to set things right.

 As I mentioned, I made a deliberate decision to limit myself in my VK account on the stars with films shown in Kazakhstan (or any place in the world where they are hot, for that matter). That is now beginning to be felt on my blog. This blogging is supposed to be fun, and I find it more fun monitoring the inroads of the Pinoy stars in their international forays. So far, I find only few of our local stars as interesting and it would be more fun zeroing in on only those who are interesting.

 As to the question of James Reid, have I really turned my back after the Houseboy-looking Rocker incident? My change in tactic was just a coincidence. In the beginning, I fed mostly Jadine articles because I was always thinking of my South American readers, my initial international readers. Moreover, ever since I stoked a diversionary intrigue to deflect the blowback of the Para Sa Hopeless Romantic flop on the Jadine love team, readers have looked to this blog as a Jadine fanatic. Wrong, it was just that I saw some bad moves, and it was like instinctively saving a baby from being run over by a speeding car. But the fact that I was mostly featuring the team limited my audience. When I started featuring Lizquen, the deluge of the readers made me really think but I played it slow so as not to offend. Then I got my perfect alibi: the Houseboy-looking Rocker incident was a perfect time to shift gears. I actually received unsolicited emails which said they understood. Whatever they understood, I am not sure. If ever On The Wings Of Love is shown in Kazakhstan or anywhere else, I'll be promoting them again. The Houseboy-looking Rocker Incident didn't mean a thing: James Reid will still have his handsome face so that means the villain still lost. They sabotaged him because fans loved his handsome face in the first place.

SCANDAL!!!! PART 4: The Pinoy Teen Idols In Russia & the Post-Soviet Space... Now, We Can Confirm The Sabotage Is Ongoing Here, Though In A Different Form... And We Now Know Who Is the Culprit

UPDATE (July 15, 2015): As early as February 2015, I've noted that fan clubs allegedly for Pinoy artists were established in the Russian VKontakte or VK. But I immediately discovered they inserted propaganda for South Koreans every now & then: they would invent false polls where out of the twenty Top  Hits in the Philippines, all were allegedly South Koreans  except for two who were given to Pinoys (probably, they delusionally thought theirs were the American hits dominating our airwaves). Or they presented alleged polls in Philippine journals where Filipinos were so awed by certain South Korean beauties (which we didn't even know existed) that they dominated our beauty polls (Their delusional preoccupation with their presumed "Beauty" figures prominently in the propaganda, both legal & dirty kinds). When Pinoys started becoming active in the VK pages by March, that trick lay low but it returned with a full blast this July. They had to:  Pinoys are hitting it big in that area, especially with the passage of the hit teleserye "Forevermore" which has obliterated whatever dividends "Boys Over Flowers had over there, considering the Kazakhs form the largest market of Asiatic film-lovers in Central Asia & the Russian Far East (I'll detail this in a forthcoming article). I guess this sabotage which we first noted in Latin America is a continuing operation, especially now that events have so evolved that the Pinoys seemed now to be considered as a threat. The South Korean propaganda revolves around their delusions about their "beauty", and here comes the Pinoys who are more beautiful than them as accepted even in this area.  I guess the propagandists have no recourse but to continue with the dirty tricks to stave off their waning popularity.  I'll discuss that in detail in another forthcoming article. 

The Pinoy VK pages are propaganda fronts using the captive Russian fans (mostly Mongoloid minorities)  as captive market for their propaganda. But the memberships of these VK groups were made irrelevant by the outside groups, like the Kazakh-established pages, which had far more readers than them. It is turning out the South Korean Hallyu is a big mirage created by a big propaganda structure in many parts of the world and it is not quite impressive outside that propaganda noise. It is losing steam.

The sabotage is expected to continue because they have done all the Plastic Surgery, they are stuck with the faces they have now. (At least, this is the most hilarious sabotage!)

If you noticed, the scandals in Russia just created the first direct public connection to  South Korean propaganda).

As we go deeper into our little investigation, it is becoming more & more apparent that  the  pirate Asiatic film-loving community doesn't involve only cheapskate individuals out to scrimpt on anything just to avoid shelling out money for their entertainment. Bigger forces which you won't expect involved in this supposedly "illegal" activity are actually behind the bigger sites.

PINOY CUTE POWER: The Gorgeous Pinoy Teen Stars Floored The Bad Guys

In the end, the winning punch was the gorgeously cute Pinoy looks.

When we first noted on March, 2015 the suppression of the popularity of Diary Ng Panget & She's Dating The Gangster in the Spanish-speaking sites by unseen forces apparently alarmed by their rising fame (Read SCANDALS #2), we thought the villains must have been jumping with joy for having sabotaged their far better-looking competitors. They must have thought they could then continue pretending being beautiful & really  nipped in the bud the resurgent cute Pinoy teens in the international scene. Little did they know an upper cut would come from the place where they thought they held sway (there are big ethnic Korean communities in the Post-Soviet space). It turned out the Philippines has a really deep bench of beautiful people and unseen from the left field emerged a teleserye packed with more cute stars, Forevermore, and it  became so big its fan membership became 8 times bigger in only 2 months than what the villains have been tenaciously building up for more than a decade through pirate websites, beauty delusions, propaganda and dirty tricks. To think the membership is still getting bigger because the showing is just midway. The funny thing was the truth inevitably came out: the villains are not really that popular, it's only their big propaganda machine that was giving the impression they were popular.


It may be hilarious but it's still poetic justice. I guess the handwriting in the wall was already evident for years now. Vietnamese youths have already been won years back by what they call "gorgeous Pinoy actors" and now they are very much plugged to Pinoy culture on their own, as proved not only by the strength of Kathniel & Marian Rivera there but once again by their active participation in the Pinoy-led Twerk Dubmash craze now engulfing not only Southeast Asia but even up to Russia. Pinoy dubmash compilations are sprouting all over Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia & Malaysia and fan clubs are sprouting even up to Russia. This is Pinoy grassroots leading the charge to propagate Pinoy soft power and culture and it is being lapped up by the world even without the mirage invented by pirate websites, beauty delusions, propaganda and dirty tricks. Ah, the dirty tricks. They actually haven't stopped, desperation makes the villains more active at this point: ATTENTION: disregard the electronic signals in the Internet like Youtube hits, video counters, etc. of Pinoy pop hits because they are being messed up with (I'll have a separate article on this). Though, come to think of it, that would only matter to those who rely solely on propaganda. Pinoys do it with their looks & talent anyway (they dominate Asiawide talent competitions like the recent Asia's Got Talent so Pinoys all have the good stuff).

It's  really all in being gorgeously cute, stupid! And Pinoys have it. While the cute Pinoy teens are wowing everybody all over the world, the villains are trying desperately to buy their stay here, but it's okay,  just take the money, they are stuck with their faces anyway (Plastic Surgery has its limits) so knock-out just the same.

Thank God for cute and gorgeous Pinoys. The genes have it.

The Bad Guys Are Panicking That Plastic Surgery Can't Help Them Anymore: EEEKKK!!! MAY CUTE PINOY NA NAMAN... DI MAUBOS-UBOS !!!

Well, my VK page is hot, but if you're wondering why I haven't updated it yet, the villains have launched another desperate attack. Well, it's okay now but I decided to rest this morning for their sake: they are obviously on the edge, they might really get insane any minute now. I give them a few hours to meditate. We're the good guys anyway, we don't push even helpless  bad guys over the cliff. Tutal, pogi naman talaga tayo eh. Sabotage sila nang sabotage, di naman tayo nauubusan ng pogi, nabaliw na lang sila!

Below is a portion of the COMMENTS of one of the posts where readers touched on exactly what was tormenting the minds of the bad guys: the "terror" of the endless supply of too many cute Pinoy stars, even without Plastic Surgery.. 

VILLAIN PROPAGANDA 101: The Anatomy of a Fake Fan

(UPDATE AUGUST 16: BTW, I have to repeat, this article is just for educational purposes so we can learn some tricks from the bad guys. I mentioned in a previous article that I don't consider them as threat because of their very obvious deficiencies, primary of which is the limitations of Plastic Surgery. The premise of the operation described below is already laughable, that you will be "lured". But we still can pick up some tricks. We'll have more studies shortly)`

Studying the propaganda tactics of the villains could be educational. We can pick up tips, especially those which are benign and are actually applicable in our scene. I wrote before some of their tactics locally: I call it Parasitic Propaganda because it rides on the popularity of others, using the fame of others as propaganda prop to paint a picture of the supposed popularity of their artists. Which is just a mirage mostly, created by propaganda. In this blog, I traced the shenanigans done on Pinoy stars from South America to the Russian Post-Soviet space but the footprint of the villains are not even that big in these areas: the memberships of the pirate websites (the captured audience) in the Spanish-speaking areas are just above 50,000 and those in the Russian Post-Soviet space just reach about 30,000. If you look at the map, the only place where they could possibly obtain their near billion hits are in Northeast Asia. But Japanese acts dominate their own charts (Japan has 127 million population), so with the Chinese (China has 1.3 billion people). But if you compare the viewcounts of the big Chinese and Japanese acts, the Chinese and Japanese are even far behind in hits. Does that mean the Chinese and Japanese love to watch repeatedly in Youtube other people's supposed hits more than the records that they buy in reality?

 Digital manipulation is the easiest because you only need the computer. I've already written instances in this blog where viewcounts have been doctored to present a different reality.

 I'll introduce a relatively common but simple trick: pretending to be fans, with the aim to control the discourse and insert propaganda unobtrusively, to make-believe they are "popular". They have established  a well-structured syndicate here.
 1) Many of those pretending to be fans in the Comments of videos of Pinoy artists are actually "agents", trying to be noticed so that if you click their names, you will be led into their pages full of clips of the artists of villainlandia. These fans act as traps so that when you fall, you fall into their pages, and hopefully lured by their "beauties".
 2) Most of those pretending to be fans in the fan club forums and are very active in the discussions are "agents". One of the common routine is the complementary dance they do: one very ardent in his loyalty to a particular artist, backed up by an accomplice extolling his loyalty, until they practically control the discussion & slyly insert their agitprop (Example: "Why not remake the K___novela so and so? Beautiful like so and so... ) or worse, a miniaturized de-facto "People Power" takeover, same script of "wresting control" is involved but  in a much, much smaller scale. Again, just to make-believe they are "popular".

 Many of these diligently attending are actually agents because that's their work, their supposed to be "free time" is their working hours. They are mainstays of forums, even the broadcast studios' forums. I haven't had the time to ascertain if there are "double agents" at least, that will follow in a more detailed article. Needless to say, the legitimate ones should always be alert with these tricks.

 Mind you, these tricks are international. I had fun discovering three (so far) supposed Pinoys who applied to be my friend in VK. Look at the picture, a typical agent, a fake account of a fan. When she contacted me on August 10, she didn't have any friend yet, I was supposed to be the first, but she was already a member of many Korean groups in the VK. Telltale signs galore of a fake account. She is the VK equivalent of the fake YOUTUBE fan I mentioned above: if you befriend her, you get the Korean traps, not the music clips this time like in YOUTUBE but the Korean fan groups more likely composed of agents masquerading as fans.

 And worse, she pretended to be a Filipino who advertised her bad taste. Needless to say, I banned her from my page.

SCANDAL!!! PART 5: WHEN FILIPINOS ARE CLUELESS TO WHAT THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO BE LISTENING TO

This is just one of the invented South Korean propaganda for South Korean artists at the expense of Pinoys that appeared in the Russian VK fan club supposedly for Pinoy artists. It is just the first one we'll feature. Let's start a few months ago....

This is still hilarious because it is so laughably ridiculous. Though it leaves a bad taste in the mouth just the same when you suddenly learn you've been listening to some supposedly popular songs which you can't remember listening to. You ask your friends and they are just as clueless.

On April 15, 2015, as if by black magic, our charts were supposedly dominated by the South Koreans. That was supposed to be according to the Philippine magazine "Showbiz", as published in the Russian VK page for Filipino artists which we now know is a front for South Korean kpop propaganda.

Here's the translation:
 "The most popular music which is listened to by Filipinos in the last week. The rating was made by the popular magazine in the Philippines "Showbiz".

They even have the name of a magazine, can you beat that?

I crossed out the names of the South Korean artists. I just left out the pictures, I guess no promotional value anyway.

SCANDAL!!! PART 2 - THE DELETED RAVE REVIEWS OF "DIARY NG PANGET" REEMERGED TO HAUNT : So Why Would Other Asians Sabotage Pinoy Films In The Spanish-speaking Sites?

Part 1        SCANDAL!!! THE "DIARY NG PANGET" & "SHE'S DATING THE GANGSTER" MYSTERY: They Don't Want Pinoy Teen Flicks To Shine In The Limelight (They Sabotaged Them Instead !!!)

The hit Pinoy teen film Diary ng Panget became the toss of the Asiatic film-loving world in late 2014, paving the way for the upsurge of interest on Pinoy teen stars in  a widely-scattered market hooked on entertainment freebies from Asia but already weary of the usual Asiatic faces on the menu for years. Alas, the popularity of the top Pinoy teen films alarmed the villains lurking in the dark and apparently, they couldn't allow the Pinoy teen stars  to steal the limelight. She's Dating The Gangster (SDTG) was released on January 1, sustaining the popularity surge started by Diary Ng Panget (DNP) . Suddenly, on the last week of February, all the rave reviews of both DNP & SDTG disappeared. When I wrote the original article, I thought it was only in one particular site, Cineasiaenlinea.com,  but it turned out, the sabotage was done in the whole Spanish-speaking blogosphere: it came in many forms, some website disappearing, rave reviews deleted, & in one site, the biggest, it never had the chance to be watched because DNP's subtitles were suddenly pulled out for some alleged rechecking, but it's already the middle of 2015, and the subtitle never reappeared (in that site, neither She's Dating The Gangster had a subtitle). One can see the pattern: they saw the Pinoy films create waves which came in rapid succession- "Diary ng Panget" in late 2014 & "She's Dating The Gangster" on New Year's day, and by February they immediately undertook suppressive measures on the two films. Surprisingly, it had a racist component, too:  The Pinoy film with Mongoloid stars went on as usual and it appears, that was part of the script, the Filipino Mongoloid should "overshadow" the resurgent non-Mongoloid Pinoy teens in all the sites (in fact, in the biggest site which is not named for now but will be later, only one Pinoy film was translated for 2015 & it's the same Filipino Mongoloid star being promoted, though the reception was way below the energy level received by the non-Mongoloid teens, as we'll see later in this series of articles). So what was the reason why the two Pinoy teen films that were being raved upon suddenly became pariahs?  The young kids were creating waves in the very age demographic that was targeted by the promoters behind this pirate film racket. The Asian film freebies appear now as mainly the lure to capture a ready market for kpop promotions but the Pinoys stole the thunder instead. Worse, they had non-Mongoloid cute faces. And why specifically in the Spanish-speaking areas? We will all answer that in time.

So, were the rave reviews gone forever? Below is how the Diary ng Panget page now appears at Cineasiaenlinea.com. At left lower corner, you'll see there are only 12 comments & the first one was only written on March 3, 2015. The film was first shown on the same site on October 16, 2014 (My Spanish friend said that thanks to our initial article which gave focus to that site, no more deletions were done there, & while DNP was buried inside, SDTG was able to remain on the front page &  still able to recover 37 new comments against the lost 60 rave reviews).

But wait, below is how the page appeared on February 8, 2015. Wonder of wonders, it had 70 commentaries then, and that was two weeks before all of them were deleted on the last week of February.

If you want to read how much the young girls in Spain & Latin America went gaga over the film, you can read all of their gushes below. Yes, the villains thought they were able to erase the popularity of the film but it turned out we have copies after all. He- he- he..., Villains  can  be comedians too, so here we go... (BTW, on the page shown above, you can see that the fans, delighted by DNP, were requesting for the other Jadine movie, "Talk Back and You're Dead: Remember that: that fact plays a big part in the mystery that we're going to unlock in our series of articles).

SCANDAL!!! PART 3: There Was No "TALK BACK AND YOU'RE DEAD" In Spanish But It Was A Hit In Portuguese & Everywhere Else

 What really pushed the button for me that something wrong was afoot was when the persistent requests for the translation of "Talk Back & You're Dead" in a Spanish site I was researching on  were started to be deleted. It only meant one thing, those who loved "Diary Ng Panget" became hooked on the Jadine loveteam and that sent alarms. So I copied the whole page of commentaries on "Diary Ng Panget" but the requests persisted until the comments were all just suddenly deleted. My hunch was right.

The Jadine fans in Brazil are alive and well, all on their own. They are very active commenting on Youtube videos of both James Reid & Nadine Lustre.

I have been writing about the misadventures of Pinoy teen films in the free Asiatic film-loving community because of the duplicitous reactions to their popularity of some eclipsed shadowplayers . Despite the noise (mostly the noise), the community is actually just a peripheral thing, and most likely, temporal phenomenon attracting just a miniscule part of the population in the targeted areas. It is best seen as a barometer of trends that could sell in the bigger market. On the surface, it has noble aims- to develop Asian soft power, but like most things, it's not always what it seems. It could be an instrument for more pernicious things, as we have been exposing. It is free, and there lies its attraction, but it could be easily dropped when one's economic status improves, or when one's hormones start to kick in and the young fangirl starts looking for the right attractions. Like what happened to the Pinoy teens. If you perused the discussions that ensued from their popularity, a recurring theme is the "tired of watching Korean or Chinese faces". Media effects and wishful thinking-dependent propaganda can only do so much. That the Pinoy teens were welcome faces was a cold shower to delusions.

How popular was the Pinoy teen films? Among the younger members of the community which form the majority, very. Special mention should be to the trailblazing "Diary Ng Panget" (DNP) & to the consolidating effect of "She's Dating The Gangster". Special mention should also be given to "Talk Back & You're Dead"(TBYD) because prior to the complete deletion of the rave reviews in the page of DNP, what really pushed the button for me that something wrong was afoot was when the persistent requests  in that page for the translation of TBYD were started to be deleted. So I copied the whole page but the requests persisted (as you can see from the resurrected deleted page in the SCANDAL!!! PART 2 article ) until the comments were all just deleted.

But "Talk Back & You're Dead" was translated into Portuguese & it even had more rave reviews. As of June, 2015, it got 134 in 15 pages.

NB. The only fly in the ointment was that She's Dating The Gangster was never translated into Portuguese despite the many requests (by this time, the fans have already started invading the more accessible Filipino showbiz blogosphere which is in English). The villains can't do anything with the Jadine phenomenon anymore in Brazil which was sudden so they apparently just opted to limit one pair & prevented the emergence of the others like Kathniel? But we have more beautiful love teams. Lizquen must be giving them sleepless nights. After just a month of showing of "Forevermore", the fan membership of Lizquen in Kazakhstan has exceeded the membership of the whole Asia film-loving pirate groups in the Post-Soviet space!

PARASITIC PROPAGANDA # 1: When Plastic Surgery Can't Help Anymore And The Villains Are Stuck With Their Faces

Sometimes, things can really become hilarious. When there is a concert, my friends would all be abuzz, but that time, everything was silent. Like most, I wasn't aware the villains had one of their propaganda non-events the other night and James Reid was supposed to be a guest. I only learned it when I read the comments of a post here (refer to the image below):

Firstly, James is a busy person and I don't presume he had the time to read the blog. But it's obvious the villains will zero in on James (Scandals #2) for their counter propaganda but it didn't absolve anyone from the accusations of acts of   sabotage against him in the Spanish-speaking sites.  I think it was irrelevant if it was counter propaganda or not, because everything was documented anyway: this thing is bigger than James Reid and it doesn't depend on the actions of James Reid.  Neither did it change the overblown popularity of the South Koreans here. Kpop has become a peripheral sideshow outside of the Mongoloid zone of East Asia and all those who mimicked it locally got nowhere (such wasted talents like the Magno Bros., etc., they got old  trying to look unappealing like the Kpop acts when they were already good-looking). So you start thinking: if nobody becomes popular mimicking it like they did with Michael Jackson or Elvis Presley, was kpop ever popular, or is it just talk, pure spin? Or it just mysteriously becomes so-called popular when South Korean artists do concerts here? Aha, the easiest propaganda is a concert. The Marcos or Hitler hakots already proved that. There are 100,000 South Korean migrants here, and many more students (in the village alone of a friend, they have many dormitories). You only need to hoodwink a few locals to make it appear legit. You don't have to look for the millions of people to influence the ratings, because that is what is happening now, no millions to watch the many languishing shows they created to heavily promote Kpop in two TV stations this year (they are into heavy promotion drive to recoup the fame that was not there in the first place). If nobody is interested to watch it, can it be popular? Coincidence that even after a decade of supposed popularity, it is still unpopular? Or is it actually all hype? Mirage magnified out of a few gullible locals by an active propaganda machinery? (We'll talk about more of this machinery in a later post in our series).

We are just starting with our Scandal series. We aren't through with the South American sabotage yet. I won't be doing these small exposes if I didn't have the goods like the documentary images we presented. I repeat, the events are bigger than James Reid or any of the villains.

Some acute observers believed James Reid is still considered a threat by the villains because he played a big role in the revival of the part of OPM which negated the lesser-looking kpop artists' appeal (as if kpop was even a force here). There's a pattern of unusual things in his career lately which intrigued me: the Spanish sabotage thing, the PSHR thing when suddenly "Pitch Perfect 2" was shown against it (which was wrongly blamed on ABS-CBN, I tend to believe now), the flattening of the viewcounts of all his later music videos since the fourth month of "Huwag Ka nag Humirit" and all the succeeding videos which all had relatively low viewcounts & which couldn't seem to rise, etc. (The suspicious viewcounts are curious: the kpop artists base their alleged popularity on the very high YOUTUBE viewcounts which are so disproportionately high when compared to the lower sales compared to those of the American artists; one act has almost two billion counts but he can't even hold a successful big solo concert in the West).

I guess we just had a look at how the villains operate in order to create their propaganda hoping they can "cute" their way in. We'll still have many tales of their piggybacking to other people's popularity one time, then stabbing them another time. Well, they are still stuck with their faces anyway, they can't do more Plastic Surgery, so it won't change a thing. That means more propaganda (sabotage?) is on the way...

SCANDAL!!! PART 1: THE "DIARY NG PANGET" & "SHE'S DATING THE GANGSTER" MYSTERY: They Don't Want Pinoy Teen Flicks To Shine In The Limelight (They Sabotaged Them Instead !!!)

(UPDATE AUGUST 16, 2015: It is best to start the series with SCANDAL!!! PART 2 because we started laying out the documentary evidence there, we have a little introduction there too to orient you what the scandals are all about. Only then is it advised to read Part 1 in order to get a clearer picture of the whole context of the scandals. I wrote Part 1 when I was still beginning to collate the evidence, and I was still trying to piece the whole picture. This series traces the misadventures of Pinoy teen films from Latin America to the Russian Post-Soviet space, where they became the darlings of the pirate , & soon of the legit  world (with the hit run of "Forevermore" in Kazakhstan). I documented a very sinister act against the hit Pinoy teen films which just recently captivated the Asiatic film fanatic communities throughout the world. This is the story how they were sabotaged.

The Asian film fanatic scene can be amusing. We know it is mostly an operation to promote a certain "THE Asian" phenotype- the Northern Mongoloid type, more specifically-  and the distribution of free Asian movies online has been used to entice unsuspecting audience for more than a decade for that obvious main purpose. The Philippines, with one of the biggest entertainment industries in the world, was only included a few years ago, albeit irregularly & far-in-between (others have 400 movies while the Philippines have little more than ten in some sites). Definitely, just to present an Asian facet to pretend the appearance of inclusion but recent developments confirmed they merely wanted it to be peripheral and not allowed to steal the limelight.  And there lies the rub, Pinoy teen flicks became very hot among the young demographic group, the lifeblood and main target of these sites. Something happened that confirmed a sinister hand won't allow the non-Mongoloid  Pinoy to shine. Very racist but it's the state of things (though thankfully, the racist can't claim he's more beautiful or he'll be laughed at at his face).

After  more than a decade of promotions, the Northern Mongoloid look should have been popular by now, but it seems, it hasn't caught on yet: nobody still aspires to undergo Reverse Blepharoplasty (Voluntary Eye Slits), but the opposite, Blepharoplasty (eyefold surgery), has become big business indeed instead. Meanwhile, only a few know Pinoys look a lot like everybody else in the world, a true melting pot.

Then "Diary ng Panget" was released last year, and suddenly it became very hot among Asian film fanatics from Eastern Europe to Latin America. Only a few independent blogs promoted it at first but the word quickly spread among the communities. It  became so viral the fanatics themselves forced the issue  ... and it became obvious, the Pinoy was meant to be just a symbolic representation, not the inadvertent hit than can steal the limelight.

We can say now that in their eyes, a hit Pinoy film can become dangerous: here's a film with beautiful non-Mongoloid Asian actors like James Reid and Andre Paras who immediately captured the interest of the mostly girl audience and that can destroy everything in their delusional pretensions.

THE MOST HILARIOUS SABOTAGE # 1: Let's Start with the LAUGH-HITS... The Not Quite Harmless Funny Ones

I guess it's always wise to know your "friend". It's weird receiving nicely a guest then all the while you discover he's been doing weirder things against you on the sly. I think it's just fair to let out we all know the score.

If you've been reading our SCANDALS series, we have stumbled upon an international sabotage of rising Pinoy teen stars and surprisingly, in this connected age, it's easy to connect the dots. From the Spanish-speaking areas to the Russian-speaking areas. But they are also active locally. They have their own mercenaries here.

The good thing is they are reading us, even the Comments, & reacting accordingly. Very obvious are the actions of the foot soldiers for covert kpop promotions using hit Pinoy videos, those pretending to be fans of local artists in YouTube, gushing heavily in their comments on the Pinoy pop artists (but  notice, always ululating about  Kpop in the process), and when you click their names, you would be led into a page full of South Korean clips but no clips of the local star being gushed over by the alleged fan.  Meaning they didn't like the videos that they were gushing over because if they did like them, the local videoclips would have appeared on that page (Moreover, most of them actually used the names of the South Korean Kpop stars as their username, a more blatant advertisement, or aggressively denigrating the video and comparing it with Kpop). That was in May when we released the first part of the SCANDALS series (read the more than 200 Comments, their tactics were all enumerated there by a contributor). It's now July, and they have adjusted their tactics: they don't gush about Kpop that much anymore openly in the thread, not overtly aggressive anymore, and when you click their names, a page full of South Korean clips will still welcome you but they have clips of liked local videos already though the liked local videos are in the middle lost amidst the South Korean clips or bottom of the page. The size of their local mercenary network is apparently huge, a big percentage use the same tactics.


Kpop is propped up by propaganda and as you'll read later in the series, it is propaganda itself.  But it is a kind of parasitic propaganda that needs a host, and the hosts are the hospitable partners. We could understand it's for supposedly Asian soft power, but make that Mongoloid soft power, and the Philippines doesn't fit the narrative. But that's getting ahead of the story, we'll discuss this later in our SCANDALS series.  As a curious student of propaganda myself (mainly political before), it was not hard to decipher the codes in this little game. In Russia, their mercenaries established fan clubs for Pinoy artists in the Russian VK (As I wrote in SCANDALS #4: As early as February 2015, I've noted that fan clubs allegedly for Pinoy artists were established in the Russian VKontakte or VK. But I immediately discovered they inserted propaganda for South Koreans every now & then:

they would invent false polls where out of the twenty Top  Hits in the Philippines, all were allegedly South Koreans  except for two who were given to Pinoys (probably, they delusionally thought theirs were the American hits dominating our airwaves). Or they presented alleged polls in Philippine journals where Filipinos were so awed by certain South Korean beauties (which we didn't even know existed) that they dominated our beauty polls.)

Hmmm.... Strange... : Just Another Sabotage?

I just want to put into record a strange thing that happened on March 5, 2015 when the newest trailer for "Para Sa Hopeless Romantic" was just released. When I accessed it at 1:20 PM, the count was 650 views but those who liked the video was 923 & those who didn't like it was 4. I refreshed the video 20 times and actually watched it (you have to refresh it to be counted), so the count should have increased to 670 if I was the only one viewing at that time (which was highly unlikely I was alone viewing in one hour) but... IT REMAINED 650 views.. but those who liked the video have already increased to 977.

When only 650 people were supposed to have opened the video, how come nearly a thousand people were able to like & unlike it?

To think, usually, only a very tiny percentage (5%?) bother to like or unlike a video...

Edward Snowden, the American whistleblower, revealed that everything in the internet could be manipulated, and are manipulated for propaganda reasons and other ulterior motives, including Youtube views. Just like when music charts were manipulated to invent a fake hit (confirmed by those who did it in their memoirs), Youtube viewcounts could be manipulated too to present a desired, though false, reality: making the unpopular overly popular. Or vice versa.

It's clear somebody was holding down the view counts.Why?

Hmmm... Sabotage?

UPDATE: Apparently, this trick could be done intermittently so as not to be very blatant but it can cumulatively whittle down the counts in time if done regularly. Fortunately, I caught it so now we know the trick exists.

This blog is growing on me. Writing it was more fun than I thought. I was actually catching so many dirty tricks even when not looking for them (I haven't even written most of them).
